Then he appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, to invoke, to thank, and to praise the LORD , the God of Israel. (1 Chro 16:4)
Being an officer in the Army, i always advise the brothers who are going into the Army, regardless how tired you are, adhere to the safety briefing for all the "live firing". This is very, very important. Sometime in our works or study, we were told : "just follow what the book says, you were be saved." The reason for giving the above examples was to share to you what the Lord has shown me lately. That is if i want to please the Lord, the best way is to read and to follow the commandments in the bible, and YOU will be saved , save from all the sins and bondage that so easily ensnare and entangle us . For eg: you can learn to pray the way the Psalmist prayed. The above verse says that the Levite were ask to to invoke, to thank, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel. This morning, let us therefore, learn to invoke, thank and praise the Lord.
"Lord Jesus, thank YOU for this new and wonderful morning, tks YOU for giving me another to live, and Lord, i just to praise YOU for all the blessing and goodness that YOU have given me, continue to grant me Grace and Mercy to live under Your Heavenly Hand. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ."

Perfect love cast out fear

I pray that our Lord Jesus will grant all of us Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, that our eyes are being enlighten to understand the important of loving one another. Not only a hearer, but be a DOER!. Another aspect of loving one another is to reconcile back to one another. For those who have quarrel, disagreement with your loved one, sibling, bros and sister in Christ, put ourselves down and learn to apologize and forgive one another. Remember Peter asked the Lord, how many times he has to forgives? Our Lord Jesus Christ answered : 70 x 7.
Yesterday i witness a beautiful picture of reconciliation between sibling. They had a small argument and their father get to knew about it. And right after our love feast, i was told that by one of the them that both of them have told their father that they have comes back to the father. Praise the Lord, they have reconcile back to one another. Amazing work of the Holy Spirit. Before the love feast, from their facial expression, i can see their anger toward one another, but right after the love feast, they have come back to the father. I guess their father do experience the JOY of his children coming back to him. This is the example of the Doer of the words of God. Have the boldness to apologize and to forgive, and go on loving one another. Surely it pleases our Lord.
Love one another and do not grieve one another and our Heavenly Father's heart.

Praise the Lord! God abides in us if we love one another, and when God abides in us, we will be given His Spirit. So we really need to love one another.

Every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. To Him who has much, more will be added to him. God promises to prune us (help us) if we bear fruit. How do we bear fruit? By abiding in Jesus, and He in us. If we love one another and keep His commandments, we will abide in Him.

Loving one another and keeping His commandments (1^st and greatest commandment and the 2^nd one which is like the first)

leads to

us abiding in Jesus, and He in us

leads to

bearing of fruits (fruits of the spirit)

& being given of His Spirit

leads to

being pruned by our Heavenly Father so that we can bear more fruit

One point that I enjoyed during the conference (corporate morning watch) was on loving the saints ard us. I enjoyed that point that we all have this common life within us in God's family, hence regardless how bad was the fight amongst one another, may the Lord open our eyes to see this and help us to be reconcile back with each other. Just like an earthly family, the siblings may fight, quarrel or even say nasty things to each other, but because they are family and have the common life within, they'll still be reconcile back to each other. =)

Praise the Lord.

Abide in ME and I in him

In the portion of Gospel of John (John 15:1-13):
"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you . Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

If you asking our Lord Jesus Christ : Lord, how can i abide in you and You in me? The above verses of John 15 and 1John 4:12-13 will tell you how are u able to abide in HIM and HE in you. Continue to love another.

Sometimes we forget how much God loves us, and hence the Lord’s table helps us remember His great love. I was thinking of the younger son who has been loved by the father. The new life that he now lives will be very different having tasted the love and grace of his father. He’ll live with a great sense of gratitude, and a new purpose in life – no longer thinking of his share of inheritance, but abiding in his father’s presence. I believe he’ll also see his older brother in a very different light – not just one of his father’s sons (as his older brother has once referred to), but as his brother. If we see one another as fellow brother and sisters in the Lord, we need to love them. For we don’t even love those in the same household of God, how can we love those who are lost… May the Lord have mercy on us.

Love one another !

We always shared that it is very difficult to love one another. So i hope thru this verse, you are able to find the answer. We have to know that God love us before we are able to love one another. He loved us with an unconditional love, He loved us while we are still sinner. He loved us with an everlasting love. He love us with a steadfast love, He is the same today, yesterday and forever. And this is His Promises to all of us, His beloved.
My experience tell me that when you are filled with His Love,. it is easy to open up your arm to accept and to love the saints. To accept who they are and to love them as they are. Because when we look at ourselves, isn't that what God has done for all of us, He did not accept us because we are perfect, rather He accept us when we are still sinner.
When the prodigal son came back to his father's house, but when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. His father did not ask to take a shower first, because he is dirty and smelly. The same way, this is how our Heavenly Father accept us.
Love one another.

We are Loved by God

Do not let the evil ones deceived u whenever you come to a point of your life telling yourself or thru other people telling you : Are you sure that God love u? or how do you know your God love you? "It is finished/It is done" saith the LORD on the cross. Our Lord has accomplished and obey His Father's will by giving up His Life for us. Our God, the Father has already sent His only begotten son to us, and this is the manifestation of our Father's love for us. God loved us and this is a truth and fact.
As for us today,
John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
We have to see that the love that the saints is actually the love of God toward us. It is manifested thru the saints, because we have the life of Christ in all of us.
Last sat while fetching my wife and my dad to meet up with my children before going to the YYP meeting , i received a call that my brother has met in a car accident and all my children were involved. (that is the reason why i did not come to the YYP meeting), tks God, beside suffering from a state of shock, Jean has a knock on her forehead. everyone is fine. All i can say to my children is that: we have to tks God for His Safe-Keeping.
I informed some of the serving ones that i could not come. And what i received was lots of love from the saints. Through this incident, i saw the Love of God manifested thru the love of my beloved saints to me. HE LOVES US, dear saints, HE LOVES US. Praise the LORD!

The Greatest Commandment.

Do you know what is the greatest commandment?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'

Someone ever ask me this question?
You love your wife more or you love God more? what is your answer? How would you answer especially when your wife is with you (outside) and Our God is in you (inside).
Ponder over this question and i will come back to you on Monday.
I am going away with my wife for a short trip (without my children). It has been many years that we do not spend 1 to 1 with one another. Glory be to God that HE opened a way for us. How important to have the foundation laid in a family. That is the love between husband and wife. Yes, we love our children very very much, but with so much of attention focusing on them, many a times, without realizing it, the bond between father and mother will slowly drifted away. Hardly do they come together, but everything they talk about is about their children study, tuition, future, spiritual life. Yet seldom do they (husband and wife) talk about themselves, Pray together, read the bible together, concerning one another spiritual life. Children look at us, the parent.
The roots of many broken family alway lie in the relationship between husband and wife. And the source of GODLY LOVE is GOD. God is LOVE.
Pray that our LORD Jesus Christ will filled our love tank to the brim. To love our spouse and our children. And above all, to love our Lord Jesus Christ with all our heart, our soul and our mind. Shalom.

Sacrifice on you or you sacrifice for others?

How to love one another? One of the characteristics of God's love is : for the benefit of other. It is differ from us, human love usually has a element of self-benefit and it is sort of contract or agreement between 2 parties. For eg: i love u because you care for me, because you did so much for me, because she take good care of me. And isn' that the true, yes, many of us know that to love is to sacrifice...........so, sacrifice on you or you sacrifice or other? ask yourself. Do to other if you want other do to you speaks of you sacrifice for other and other will sacrifice for you.
Our Lord love us to the point of death, and our bro paul in the book of Hebrew 12 beseech us to offer ourself as a living sacrifice, holy and well pleasing to HIM, which is the most reasonable service. How to sacrifice for our GOD? that is to sacrifice on the brethren, our LORD JESUS say that if you pour a cup of water to a young boy, you do it to HIM. How do you know that our HEAVENLY FATHER LOVE US? HE demonstrate HIS LOVE by sacrificing HIS ONLY SON to us that we might be reconcile back to HIM.
Love HIM? keep His commandment and DO IT!
Pray that our Lord will filled our "love-tank" with HIS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE every day. Because HE is LOVE.

Psa 119:10-11

Psa 119:10 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
Psa 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

Not only hearer, but be a doer.

Everything you want to know about LOVE is in these following verses, pray that our Lord will grant us a revelation to see in a practical way, it is not good at all just to know it in knowledge. Live it up, live it up. Lord help us.

1Jn 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
1Jn 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1Jn 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
1Jn 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1Jn 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1Jn 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

1Jn 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1Jn 4:21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Jesus Christ, Author and Finisher of our FAITH

Heb 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
