I don't care...........

This morning, my wife was sharing to me that she wanted Bryan to wet his hair because it is untidy. He simply replied : "i don't care".

I recalled a verse in James 1:23-24
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

Earthly speaking, can we live without a mirror for a day? and if it is no, then why do we need a mirror for. Will a "i don't care" attitude person need a mirror?

Likewise, the Bible is like a mirror, it speak out faults and remedies, do and don't, things that will pleased God, things that will not grieve HIM, etc.

So, next time when you come before a mirror, please do not forget that you are a Child of God. Be a hearer and a doer of the word of God.

All the sudden my wife said to me " thank you ". All because i have shared a point to a couple where we visited them on Sat afternoon. It was mend for them and never had i realized that she has enjoy those sharing and i thank God that my Good Lord has spoken to her.

But what i enjoy most was that she said to me "thank you". Sound simple, you tried and say thank you to your spouse. And if you can do it without any difficulty, Praise the Lord, continue in that good work. But if you cannot do it, well.............

JUST DO IT. It feel very good when my wife said "thank you" to me. Glory be to GOD! By HIS Grace, We are working and enjoying our marriage.

Well, as for me, Hmmmmm.......what i can say is i am trying too. (why? Pride get in the way).
It is easy for me to thank God, thank saints, but to thank my wife? To my surprise, i find it rather difficult to do so.

Help me , Lord Jesus.

Do you still remember?

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Many Christians are fallen into lover of SELF :
2Ti 3:2-5a
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Lest they forget:
1Pe 4:17
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

May we are those who say:
Rev 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Listen to the truth or fables? you decide.

2Ti 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

It will be the condition when us, Christian, becomes lover of SELF. We only like to hear words that suit us and will not made us feel "angry".

Take for example. Would u prefer to hear : "U love God or u love sleep" - when the brothers are sharing with regards to being late for meetings or have a heart to wake up early to seek HIM. OR "pls do not condemn yourself, it is ok/ fine that you are late, or you wake out late, our Lord is full of grace, HE understand"

May we have a heart of "LOVE of GOD" to received His sound doctrine, although it may hurt us most of the time. Well, it show that we are in the stage of being mould by THE POTTER. It may be painful for the moment, after it has gone thru fire, it will be beautiful, trust the LORD.
