Lovers of God or Lovers of self?

2Ti 3:1-4
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

SO,

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7)

Ask the Lord to lead us to be a Lovers of God.

A email to a saint

Psa 46:10a say : " Be still, and know that I am God" , u have to believe.

Remember one of the afternoon that i have shared to you that Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Great 'I AM'?
He know all things, He is our Creator. He planned and designed each one of us differently, agreed?

Psa 139:1-18
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Recalled the skit of "JOB", i thank God that you have asked for His Peace instead of "curse God". All of us will go thru some tough time in our life, but it is thru all these that our lump of clay will be mould by the Potter and thru fire ( trials and temptation ) will become a beautiful vessel. Vessel for God's use. I alway recalled that the reasons for all of us to go thru it is to allow us or prepare us to help other who are similar to your situation it the near future, it may be now, 10 or 20 years later, Our Good Lord will place this saint to your care, believe? Yes! i believe.

It is truly sad, in fact, interestingly, i felt really sad when i read your sms, the only regret is that i did not reply you immediately as i have turned to silent mode and it is quite rare that i do that, perhap our Lord want you to come near personally to HIM this time. Sorry.

ONLY our LORD is 24 x 7, He is indeed Faithful. Praise the Lord.

So, go thru it, learn from it and if you are tired, go for a walk. It same goes to happiness (remember what bro Kian Heng about it, it will not last too), so likewise, sadness.
It will go away. There is alway sunshine after nightfall....................

God is our Peace,

Nothing shall separated us from the Love of God

Rom 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Awake from my dream ...........................................

"Do not be like your Papa who have a smelly mouth and decay tooth" saith my wife to bryan low (my second child), who refuse to brush his teeth. I was awaken to that statement, of course, i must admit, i have no excuse to scold my wife. She is right. And thankfully, that brought me to a new experience with my Lord Jesus yesterday. And i would like to share to all of you.

Well, i can boldly share to you now is because i have a set of beautiful teeth, clean and white, since yesterday afternoon, yup, i have gone to see the most scary doctor, The Dentist. U see, my last visit to see the dentist have to be 10 - 15 years ago and i only brush once a day. Ya , you may be laughing but you may be one of them, right? And above all, it cost me a bomb.

After a gruesome 45 minutes of drilling and washing, the dentist then taught me how to brush my teeth, 10 times here, 10 times there, 10 times everywhere, and i tell myself, u must be crazy, here and there, will end up brushing more than 100 times.

But when i saw my teeth, whoa, i don't believe it............, never can i imaging that i can have a set of beautiful teeth again. So after complaining that much, you know what?

Without even believe myself, i did actually what the dentist has instructed me, without any struggle,10 times everywhere. I did that last nite and i did it this morning. And it is truly not difficult at all.

Now why i do that? all because i do not want to dirty my teeth again and i want to have a set of clean, beautiful and healthy set of teeth.

And this is my enjoyment:
Isn't this the same that our Lord has done for us.
Once we are dirty, filthy, and no where to be clean, but Praise the Lord, with the high price that He had paid for us (ya, we need not pay anything, He paid all for us), by shedding His blood on the cross, we are CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL and HOLY. Do you see this, dear saints? And if you have see this, do you still want to dirty, defile your body, far be it from us. I pray. And this is exactly why many believer are still in their sinful self. They have not seen that they are clean and beautiful, not only before man but also before God.

It may be a trial to brush more than 100 over times, but no problem, i can manage so long i can have a set of teeth, bright, beautiful and healthy. So likewise, surely we should not have problem to overcome trial or temptation if we see that we are clean and holy and want to stay clean and holy. May we pray that our Lord opened our eye to see and to treasures what our Lord has done for us.

1 King 11: 1-12

But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, "You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods." Solomon clung to these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and did not fully follow the LORD, as did his father David. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods. So the LORD became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the LORD had commanded. Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. Nevertheless I will not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David; I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
