Do you "fret"
How often we "fret" (to cause to suffer emotional strain, an irritated state of mind, troubled mind) when we see our colleagues are prospering each year, house getting bigger, car getting bigger, especially those who do not work, but good at claiming your glory, ie "you do and he/she claimed your glory" and those who are good at "taking care" of the their bosses. As for student, how often we "fret" when we see our friend "cheating", did not get caught, higher score than you and enter better class or better school. This is the world, dear saints. But the warning to all of us is : DO NOT FALL INTO THE DEVIL'S SNARE! by doing unrighteous things to get "blessing". Sometime, i marvel when people say : Tks God, did not caught while "cheating", or Tks God for the result knowing that you : "cheat" during the exam. Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to "REST" and "WAIT PATIENTLY". Do you realized how much time we have wasted "suffering", "unrest" and "loosing hours of sleep" when we are troubled by all these in our daily living? Asking God, "Why this amd why that? Lord, you are just, punish them............ Many even suffered "depression". What the Lord wants us is simple "REST" and "WAIT PATIENTLY" and not to cause harm to yourself. Bacause : Psa 37:18 The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. Psa 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Be Blessed!
Rejoice in the Lord
"Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation". ( Hab 3:18) Prophet Habakkuk rejoice in the Lord although he knew that the Babylonians are coming soon to capture the kingdom of Judah. Soon he will become either a prisoner of war or be killed by the enemy. Despite of all these uncertainty, he choose to rejoice in the Lord. All he asked was that our Lord be his strength.I was reminder by the Lord to Praise HIM and to rejoice in HIM when i told HIM that i have a thorn in my flesh last night. And Praise the Lord, HE has taken it away this morning :)Many a times, we tks HIM, rejoice in HIM or even praise HIM ONLY after the whole incident are over. May we learn we rejoice in the Lord even in our infirmity or even when things seem to be of no favour to us and is about to come upon us. All we ask is that our Lord be our Strength to bring us through those suffering :) Be blessed !

Our Lord is Good, they are so many things that i was to give tks and praise to HIM for these conference. Tks HIM for being the Head, the Driver, the Leader and Helper. Praise HIM for His Present with us, HIM being our confident and HIM being there when we need HIM.
As for me, having gone thru the past conferences, it made me realised that it is not how good and prepared we are, but it is HIS PRESENT. To have our dear Lord Jesus Christ with us is the most important thing that i see in these conference. It is getting clearer and clearer to me.
This conference our Lord has shown us that we are saved to serve. We shared about our position before and after we are saved, why we have to serve HIM and to serve HIM, we need to see the GOAL, ATTITUDE and LIFESTYLE. (GOAL)
We must have the end in mind (Goal) when we run this heavenly race, to me, that will be the Lord saying to me : "Well done, good and faithful servant" with a smiling face on His Face and having to know that our serving on earth is also eternal, as we have to serve our Lord on that DAY. As such, i pray that i will also be smiling and not sighing before i end my last breath on earth :)
With that in mind, i desire to have an attitude just like our Lord Jesus when He was on earth. Love, Faithful, obedience, humility and many more. I pray that our Lord will give me the strength to stay beside HIM and learn from HIM, by having a lives with HIM, reading His words, fellowshipping with the saints and not forsaking the meeting lives.
As for lifestyle, i pray that whatever the things i do, be it in the hall or at home, it will be approved by HIM. To be the light and salt on the earth. Approved in every ways.
To serve HIM, it is not just serving HIM in the the meeting hall, not just playing piano, guitar, cleaning, preaching or even sharing in the meeting. It is also in our home and our family too. We, husband, we have to serve our wife by loving, cherish and nourish her. We have to serve our children by not provoking them. Spend time with them and teach them the words of God. For wife, you have to serve your husband by submitting to him, be his helper. To the children, by being obedient to your parents, you are also serving GOD.
May we see that to serve HIM begin after we are saved! and not when we have to wait till the time is ready and not only to serve HIM in the meeting hall, we serve HIM everywhere and at all times. In other word, when they see you, they see Christ.
Just like our Lord Jesus Christ, HE came to serve and not to be served. Be Blessed.
