Serve one another just like how HE served

Praise the Lord, indeed by His abundant of His Love, we are in HIS HOUSE. And in His House, we will learn the things that are being taught by HIM. Pray that our Lord will grant all of you the spirit of wisdom and revelation to see this.
Last night, during our brother's pursue, i was touch by the washing of feet by our Lord Jesus Christ in John 13. But, just as we alway focus on the prodigal son and missed the other part, which is his elder brother, likewise, whenever we come to the washing of His disciple's feet, we alway see the the aspect of Humility of Christ.
It fact our Lord Jesus began with an "action" of washing His disciple's feet first before He spoke from Chapter 13-17. He began with an example to show His disciple. And that is to love one another and HE also gave a commandment :
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)
What a God we have!
But what touches me most was.........our Lord Jesus also wash the feet of the one that is going to betray HIM. Well, if He wants, HE can actually wait till Judah Iscariot leave the room and then, washed the feet of the other disciples, but He did not, He too, washed the feet of Judah Iscariot. And washing of feet, not only required humanity, it also required patience and long-suffering too.
To serve one another, we need the fruits of the Spirit : "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law". (Gal 5:22)
Not only to serve those whom we love, but also to those whom we are "unlove" too.
Be it in the church, in school, in our working place, dear saints, we are the Light, as He is in the Light, it is this life that is inside us made us difference from the rest. Be Blessed!

Father's Love

How deep the Father's love for us,how vast beyond all measure that He would give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss that our Father turns His face away as wounds which mar the chosen One that bring many sons to glory.

Behold the Man upon a cross that My guilt was on His shoulders. Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice calling out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there until it was accomplished. His dying breath has brought me life and I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything, nor gifts, nor powr's, nor wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer. But this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom.
Be Blessed!

He is in our Heart

I was listening to a conversation between 2 man with regards to the "buddha" pendant which one bought it. The other man told him :"why don't you buy bigger in size?", the other replied :"it going to be even heavier to wear". What about us? Praise the Lord, we do not need to wear any pendant of our God to show that we love our God, or by showing people that we are more devoted. All our Lord Jesus wants us to do is to walk worthy or His calling, "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called" (Eph 4:1), to be the light of this world and having a mind of Jesus, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippian 2:5), to love and to serve one another.

Is not just in outward wearing of something but rather, but we have to know what actually our Lord and our God wants us to do. And that is in deed and in truth as this verse says : "My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth" (1 John 3:18).

And if are not aware, today not only our Lord is seated with our Heavenly Father in the heavenly, His is also in our Spirit. And the last adam became the Life Giving Spirit :"And so it is written, "THE FIRST MAN ADAM BECAME A LIVING BEING." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit".(1 Cor 15:45)

So dear saints, may we be informed that so long as we know that our Lord is inside us, there is really no need to wear anything to remind us that we are Christian. In fact, if we do spend time with our God daily, not only in the morning, but involve HIM in your work, study or even while take a public transportation, you can be assured that you will know that this one and ONLY True God is always in you, beside you and even at the closest part of your body. That is in your heart, "that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;" (Eph 3:17a)
Be blessed and remember always!

Precious Lesson that i have learnt

Whenever we think of Martha, we think of this : "But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." (Luke 10:40), and so she is called "The Complaint Martha"
Whenever we think of Thomas, we think of this : "The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he (Thomas) said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." (John 20:25), and so, he is called :"Doubting Thomas".

And it seem that it is much easier for us to remember someone fault or than the strength and far worst, we, having to love to gossip, would prefer to dwell and continue to talk and spread about his or her weakness and faults, right? But thank and Praise the Lord, my Lord and my Saviour showed me a precious lesson that we all have to learn. Now let us look at the following verses concerning Martha and Thomas.

Firstly, do you know that without the doubting of Thomas towards our Lord, we will not have this precious and important verse that was spoken by our Lord, and this : Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John 20:29).

Secondly, as for Martha? pls read the following verses :
"Now Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world." ((John 11:21-27)

Thomas may have doubt, but when he see the Lord, he said "My Lord and My God" (John 20:28), Martha may be complaint and murmuring, but she is a sister who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. She has such a strong faith. After all, both have their strength too. Let us learn this precious lesson. Look at the strength of our colleagues, friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord. We need HIM to help us to stop talking about bad things of others. Be Blessed!

Old, Old Story

I remember this old old story of our Lord Jesus himself as i pondered over this verse right now:

"And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left. And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, "You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross."
Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said, "He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.' " Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing.
Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?" "(Matt 27:37)

Did our Heavenly Father really forsaken His Only Begotten Son? Did our Lord really forsake us or leave us? even while we are faithless or it seem that HE is not there for you when you need HIM, just like David that mentioned in Psalm 3?
Take a while to ponder or mediate right now as i prefer to let our Good Lord Jesus Christ to reveal to you. He will reveal to you if you seek HIM diligently. Be Blessed!

Love Jesus, this NOW!

I have long-sightedness (老花眼). What a new year to start with! which mean i can see far and cannot see near :)
But i have also learn something from our Lord thru this, that is we need to see near nearer and closer before we want to see things further. If we want to get the crown of life from our Lord Jesus when we see HIM, we need to behave and walk properly, righteously today.
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace". (Eph 4:1-3)
Today many Christian are waiting for the peace treaty to be sign in Israel. Up and coming is the one peace treaty that they are targeting to sign it by end of 2008. But as for me, as this is not the first time that they have sign a peace treaty, so whether this is "THE" treaty that will bring the start of 7 years Great tribulation, and if it is true, where i believe many christian "WILL THEN" begin to love and walk before the Lord, i guess is a bit too late. It just like when Noah was building the ark, while he was building, he is there preaching too. And when you see the flood coming, then you want to take heed what Noah had been saying for almost 100 years ( it took almost a 100 years to built the ark), it simply too late.
Remember what our Lord had said,:
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be". (Matt 24:36-39)
and i will end with this verse :
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. (Matt 24:42)
Remember see NEAR. To love HIM and WALK before, is NOW and not THEN. Be Blessed!

Obedience, Fellowship & Service (O.F.S.)

Dear saints,

This morning i would to share what i have enjoyed last night during our home meeting. The theme was : The 3 big principles in the body of Christ. And that Obedience, Fellowship & Service. In short : OFS.

1) Obedience : We need to obey the Head of the body, which is Christ.
"And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him (Jesus Christ) to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all". (Eph 1:22-23)

2) Fellowship : As the body with many parts and all are wonderfully and fearfully made by God, we need to come to together to meek each one needs. Not only there is a need to fellowship with God, there is also a need to fellowship with the body, the saints.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well". (Psalm 139:14)
"For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually". (1 Cor 12:12-27)

3)Service : As a body of Christ is just like a big family, and in our own family, it is very natural to take up the roles of responsibility when you are of age, of course, sometime, due to unforeseen circumstances, he or she may have to pick up the roles to take care of the family much earlier, may our Lord grant them more Grace.
As such, for us who has been in the church for many years, it is naturally for us to take up some roles of services in the church, it is not a duty, but rather, just like in the family, someone need to cherish and nourish the younger generation. Not just the words of God but also with Tender, Loving & Care.

Lastly, what i had enjoyed the most last night was that i, in the church, not only we need one another, but we also need to have this awareness that many saints has been praying for you and me. I recalled many years back, there was a brother who told me that he always knew that there are saints praying for him. And do you not know that our Lord is our Intercessor?
"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered". (Rom 8:26)
And so, pray for one another in and out, where ever you are. And dear saints, there are people that is praying for you, right now, trust me. Be Blessed!

Curse and Blessing

Dear all, just to do share with all the you some verses that i have read last night which are very similar to the Psalm 1. Is found in the book of Jeremiah : May we ask the Lord to increase our appetite in His Word. Delight and Mediate on His Words too.

Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
"The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:5-10)
Be Blessed!

He will keep us from the evil one.

Dearest saints, the ungodly are the reverse of the righteous, both in character and condition, they are led by the counsel of the wicked, in the way of sinners, to the seat of the scornful; they have no delight in the law of God and are easily driven to and fro by every wind of temptation. Our Lord says :"Be Holy and I am Holy" (1 Peter 1:16) and i will leave you with the following verses that our dear Lord Jesus Christ pray to our Heavenly Father :

"I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth". (John 17: 9-17)
